Nice article with funny timing, as I just wrote my (very first!) post the other day on having a kind of career identity crisis as a non-designing designer. I think it all boils down to creative people needing to channel their and creative energy in a productive way, and how that manifests is fairly likely to shape-shift and morph over time. So I just tend to go with it!
